Freight containers at a shipping terminal
Trade and logistics context.

A shipment depends on more than a vehicle and a route. Agent records, compliance checks, charges and payment references have to remain connected as different organisations do their part of the work.

The KIFWA agreement

CapitalPay International and KIFWA signed their agreement in Nairobi on 10 October 2025. The proposed Centralised Clearing and Forwarding Management System covers agent licensing, compliance, cargo monitoring, dispute handling and training.

Follow the administrative record

An agent needs to know which requirement applies, what evidence is needed and which organisation handles the next step. Connecting those records is a practical task at the centre of trade administration.
